1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the transportation of goods by an individual ("Carrier" or "Traveler") on behalf of another person ("Sender" or "Owner"). The purpose is to ensure clear responsibilities, safety, and legal compliance during the transport process.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Sender/Owner: The individual who owns or sends the goods.

Carrier/Traveler: The person physically transporting the goods.

Recipient: The person or organization receiving the goods at the destination.

3. Acceptance of Goods

  • The Carrier has the right to inspect the goods before accepting them for transport.
  • The Sender must declare the type, weight, and value of goods accurately.
  • The Carrier may refuse to transport:
  • Illegal, hazardous, or flammable materials
  • Perishable goods without proper packaging
  • Goods exceeding legal or agreed weight limits

4. Packaging and Documentation

The Sender must ensure all goods are properly packaged, labeled, and documented.

Any required permits, customs declarations, or invoices must be provided by the Sender.

The Carrier is not responsible for delays or penalties caused by missing or inaccurate documentation.

5. Liability

The Carrier must handle goods with reasonable care during transportation.

The Carrier is not liable for:

  • Damage due to poor packaging by the Sender
  • Delays caused by weather, accidents, or government inspections
  • Loss or damage unless caused by proven negligence

The Sender agrees to indemnify the Carrier for any claims or legal issues arising from the nature of the goods.

6. Insurance

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Carrier is not required to insure the goods.

The Sender is responsible for arranging any insurance coverage.

7. Payment and Compensation

The Sender agrees to pay the Carrier the agreed transport fee.

Payment terms (e.g., before departure or upon delivery) must be agreed upon in writing.

Additional costs (fuel, tolls, customs fees) may be charged separately if not included in the agreed fee.

8. Delivery and Handover

The Carrier will deliver goods to the agreed destination and recipient.

Proof of delivery (signature, photo, or receipt) may be required.

The Carrier is not responsible for items after confirmed delivery.

Both parties must comply with all applicable transport, customs, and safety laws.

The Carrier must not transport illegal or restricted items under any circumstances.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute should first be resolved through discussion between the parties.

If unresolved, disputes will be handled under the laws and jurisdiction of the country where the transport agreement was made.

11. Amendments

These Terms may only be modified through a written agreement signed by both parties prior to transport.
